Studio Veldsla has designed an immersive and vibrant customer journey for the retail design of Cortina Bikes and accessories in 2023. The concept aims to capture the attention of customers and create a holistic experience that reflects Cortina's brand values. Here's an overview of the customer journey:

  1. Exterior Design: Upon approaching the store, customers will notice the Cortina Bicycle storage area, where they can securely park their old bikes. This feature not only adds convenience but also highlights the brand's commitment to sustainability and the cycling community. The window display showcases text messages that intrigue passersby and create curiosity about Cortina.

  2. Entrance Display: As customers enter the store, they are greeted by a prominent display featuring new Cortina products. This display serves as a guide, indicating the location of the Cortina corner within the store where all the beautiful products are showcased. It acts as a visual magnet, drawing customers into the vibrant Cortina world.

  3. Cortina Corner: To enter the Cortina corner, customers pass through a gate that marks the transition into an exclusive area dedicated to Cortina bikes. Walking underneath the gate triggers a projection on the floor, adding an element of surprise and interactivity.

  4. Target Group Displays: Cortina has identified five target groups, and each group is represented by its own display. These displays are designed to present the bikes in an attractive and accessible manner, using specially designed stands that keep the bikes upright. Each display caters to the unique preferences and needs of the respective target group, ensuring a personalized experience for customers.

  5. Modular Accessories Display: The accessories are showcased on a modular block display, allowing customers to easily browse and select complementary products for their Cortina bikes. This display system offers flexibility in presenting various accessories and encourages customers to explore the options available.

  6. Cortina Logo Wall Lights: To emphasize the Cortina corner, special wall lights featuring the Cortina logo are strategically placed. These lights not only provide functional illumination but also draw attention to the area, creating a focal point and enhancing brand visibility.

  7. Special Bike Pickup: When customers make a purchase, they have a memorable moment when receiving their new bike. To make this experience truly special, a fantastic arrow with lamps is positioned above the pickup area. The arrow directs attention to the moment of receiving the bike, adding an element of celebration and excitement.

Through this retail design concept, Cortina aims to showcase its high-quality and fashionable bikes, capturing the attention of customers and immersing them in a colorful and modern Cortina world. The displays and overall customer journey serve as an invitation to explore the brand's products and build a strong connection with the Cortina brand.
